Somehow Rachel makes pregnancy look like the most beautiful, peaceful, joyful thing in the world. Probably because it really is such an incredible, empowering experience to go through as a woman but also because, let's face it, she totally rocked this vintage dress and showed off her bump to perfection in the photos. I can't wait to revisit her in the springtime and capture her little one. I have a few more images from this session with Rachel and her daughter at their home which I will share later this week so watch this space... I really love photographing pregnancy. Maternity sessions have an intimacy and a vulnerability about them that I adore. There is something very special about awaiting the arrival of a little one, and about the metamorphosis we, as women, go through as we bloom and blossom.
